Holy Trinity - Nuriootpa

This church is one of the newest ones to the Barossa Valley.

In 1958 the Holy Trinity Congregation was organised by the E.L.C.A synod.

With the St Paul's congregation in Tanunda growing steadily they decided having a second smaller church was the best way to compensate for the overflow of congregation members.

The new church was opened and dedicated on the 17th of July, 1960.

The pipe organ that was installed into this church has a longer history then the church itself.

Built in 1871 at ‘Gruhau Silesia' by the Walter brothers and exhibited at the work fair in 1871.

It has 335 pipes operated by 10 stops.

It was first at St. Petri and was later sold off to Holy trinity Church in 1966.
